Copyright & takedowns

Email nearveil@gmail.com with the subject "Copyright notice", including:

1. your name, organisation if any, postal address, phone number and email address;
2. the work you own or represent, such as the song title, performer, film or album, label and year;
3. the link to each page on Playlistify where it appears, for example https://playlistify-app.vercel.app/song/<id>;
4. a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
5. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you own the rights or may act for the owner;
6. your physical or electronic signature.

Your notice is acknowledged within 24 hours. Once a notice is complete, access to the material is removed or disabled within 36 hours, and the uploader is told where that applies. If a notice is missing something you will be asked for it.

You can also ask for a credit to be corrected instead of the material being removed.

If a recording you submitted was removed and you believe that was a mistake, email the same address with your name and contact details, the recording that was removed, and a statement, made in good faith, explaining why you have the right to share it. Material is only restored where the law allows it.

Accounts that repeatedly post infringing material are closed. Sending a notice you know to be false can make you liable for the harm it causes.

Complaints about content on Playlistify, including copyright complaints, are handled by the Grievance Officer, at nearveil@gmail.com. Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days.
